So to start with..I bought two fake pumpkins from Michael's for approx 10 dollars on sale and then I bought Martha Stewart's Glittering Glue and Glitter in Fire Opal..I can't remember how much I paid for those but I'm not sure not more than 10 dollars or so.
My pumpkins before....
Here is the glue and glitter I used
I just used Dollar Store craft paintbrushes to brush the glue. I didn't put a lot of glue and it spreads pretty well. The fun part is putting the glitter on. I pressed on the glitter a bit after to make it stick on better. Also, I used an old cookie pan with wax paper to put the pumpkin on it and to put the sparkles to lessen the mess. Although, I'll be honest with you guys, there are sparkles that are going to be on your floor, the cat, my shoes, socks, etc.
And now to the finished product....

Love the pumpkins, they turned out fantastic! I believe you have done Martha proud!
Those are beautiful! Glitter scares me (because of the mess they can leave), but that might be worth it! Love it! I am featuring this at somedaycrafts.blogspot.com. Grab my "Featured" button.
I LOVE those pumpkins. Very creative and easy to do. But I would have sparkles from one end of the house to the other :)
