Christmas Cupcakes-Wreath
My mom and I made these Christmas Cupcakes a few days ago, it was so much fun! I made some for us and my mom and dad but most of them went to the hospital with Matt. Matt is an RN so I figured the nurses at his work would like some goodies since they work so hard and sacrifice their time with their families during the holidays, it was the least I could do.

Christmas Part 1-Country Kitchen
So the snow has melted, but it still looks like Christmas in our home. Here are a few pictures. Hope you are enjoying the holidays!
Here is my snowman, isn't he cute?
And more snowmen, love them!
The stocking ornament was given to Matt last year from my Mom, aren't the colors just gorgeous!
I think my Mom gave me this one a couple of years ago, I don't why but I just love it, maybe because it's so "country".

Winter Wonderland
It snowed here a few days ago, and while I was admiring the snowflakes gently make their way to the ground, I thought I would take a few photos of our winter wonderland.

Christmas Pine Cones
Remember these???!!
Well they needed a little something, a little well sparkle...So I got some Martha Stewart Glitter in Florentine Gold and White Gold.
A little glitter here, there and everywhere and this is the end product. It does add a beautiful look to the cones although my camera might not capture it.

As you can see some of the glitter does come off, but I pretend it's snow hahaha!
It was a fun project to do, hope I inspired you to get your glitter on!

Blue Christmas
Hi Ladies, I have started to decorate for Christmas. I have decided to use blue and silver in my living room and then put our x-mas tree in our dining room. The mantel in our living room is done. It's very simple but that's the way I like it. Hope you are all enjoying the holiday season.

Pumpkin a la Sparkle!
I got this idea from The pink Tutu. It was such an easy and fun project and cmon who doesn't like glitter??!!
So to start with..I bought two fake pumpkins from Michael's for approx 10 dollars on sale and then I bought Martha Stewart's Glittering Glue and Glitter in Fire Opal..I can't remember how much I paid for those but I'm not sure not more than 10 dollars or so.
My pumpkins before....
Here is the glue and glitter I used

I just used Dollar Store craft paintbrushes to brush the glue. I didn't put a lot of glue and it spreads pretty well. The fun part is putting the glitter on. I pressed on the glitter a bit after to make it stick on better. Also, I used an old cookie pan with wax paper to put the pumpkin on it and to put the sparkles to lessen the mess. Although, I'll be honest with you guys, there are sparkles that are going to be on your floor, the cat, my shoes, socks, etc.
And now to the finished product....

I'm Baaaaaaaaaaack!
Well, hello there! I've been MIA for the summer. I had an awesome summer. I hope you all did too. Now that it's starting to look alot like fall, I've decided to start blogging again. So to start off, I'm showing you my fall mantel and decor. Enjoy!
I love my pumpkin from Winners on my mother's carnival glass dish! The hurricane vases are from Pier 1, got them on sale at Christmas time and the filler in them, which smells lovely by the way, is from Home Sense (something like HomeGoods for my American gals).
This lovely swag is a Dollar Store find, loves it!
This cutie is from Micheal's, love the color combo, don't you? There's my fiancee's god daughter in the background, isn't she adorable?!
Pitcher from Home Sense for 14 dollars and flowers from the Dollar Store, reminds me of wild flowers from a field...
More to come soon, I bought a couple of grapevine wreaths at Michael's and 25 dollars worth of flowers and leaves, etc at the Dollar Store. Stay tuned Classy Gals!!!
